All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), New Delhi conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on a national basis every year in the months of May, September and December for Admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes. Large number of institutes participates in MAT.
Graduate in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Course can also apply and admission subject to qualifying the MAT test as well as obtaining the degree.
PBT - Paper Based Test.
CBT - Computer Based Test which is an online test.

MAT is not a difficult test. The Mathematical Ability section is mainly focused on direct concepts and to a certain extent on problem solving skills without much complication.
There are 200 multiple choice objective questions to be completed in 150 minutes. The questions are not divided into specific sections, but broadly from the five areas mentioned above carrying 40 questions each.
